Sherry has been active in Real Estate for over 20 years focusing on historic and waterfront properties in Boston and the surrounding suburbs, the Falmouth / Waquoit area on the Cape and the island of Martha's Vineyard. Sherry has now associated with New London Agency | Sotheby’s International Realty where she will be serving the Lakes Region of New Hampshire for the company.

 

Earlier in her career, Sherry was credited with pioneering the upscale real estate market in Charlestown. She opened her own real estate office there in the 1990's evolving it into one of the largest and most successful boutique firms in the area. The business grew rapidly as many of Charlestown’s neighborhoods matured especially along the waterfront in the Navy Yard and on Boston Harbor. In particular, Sherry was responsible for the oversight of a multimillion dollar, 200 unit luxury, waterfront condominium building. She credits this early success in part to having participated in a course titled “The Art of Negotiation” taught by a renowned Harvard professor during her business and legal graduate studies.

 

Her company was acquired in 2008 by Gibson | Sotheby's International Realty. Sherry welcomed the opportunity to provide her clients access to the global exposure of the Sotheby's International Realty brand and its long standing association with world renowned Sotheby’s auction house.

 

Having been through multiple economic cycles has infused Sherry with the knowledge and confidence to guide her clients though today's challenging real estate market. Her clients (investors and homeowners alike) have come to rely on her knowledge, perspective, exceptional service, loyalty and wealth of marketing and negotiating skills finely honed throughout her career.

 

She has been quoted in numerous newspapers and magazines offering her insight on various real estate issues including legal and ethical matters in such publications as Boston Magazine, the Boston Globe and Boston Homes.
