White Mountains

Defined by Mt. Washington – the highest mountain in the northeast – and 48 other mountains that are greater than 4000 feet high – the White Mountains region offers a venue for every type of sporting enthusiast.  Many natural wonders are open to the public including the Flume Gorge, the Basin, Crawford Notch and several State Parks.  Ski Attitash in winter or ride the alpine slides in summer.  Take the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tram to the summit whether you plan to ski down – or ride back!  The kids will love Clarks Trading Post and the Conway Scenic Railroad.  Loon Mountain offers some of the best skiing in the State.  Story Land is a favorite amongst New Hampshires youngsters.   There’s something for everyone in the White Mountains.
